The BIG fifty is coming….
November 2, I became a new grandma, her name is Yeriel (it sounds sexy in Spanish) she lives in Mexico where my son Eduardo made his home 3 years ago. I always watched new dotting grandmas proudly show their pictures, and please bare with me, I am now showing mine.
It’s interesting, I look at her picture and my heart warms up. I never used to stop at the babies department, unless I was buying a shower gift, and now, I walk right up and fall in love with ballerina outfits, hats and pretty shoes. Oh my goodness, I have a new addiction; the color pink!
This year is coming to a close, and for me it will be an exciting 2011- January 28th, I will be turning 50, interesting too, in my career, I have watched many woman turn fifty and start to be concerned about hot flashes, lines and wrinkles–now, it’s my turn!! I think I will start to recycle, I will celebrate last years birthday 
In March, I get to meet my granddaughter in Guadalajara, Mexico. I asked how many pieces of luggage we were allowed, and since I have “platinum status”, it was 2 at no charge. Good, Yeriels new pink clothes will occupy one full suitcase and the other is for mine.
